Day 3 of the swimming competition at the Tokyo Olympics saw national swimmer Quah Zheng Wen take to the pool once more for the heats of the Men's 200m Butterfly. Having not made the semi-finals for the Men's 100m Backstroke, Quah was looking to emulate his 2016 Rio Olympics performance when he made the semi-finals of the Men's 200m Butterfly. Singapore saw her first Olympic swimmer hit the pool on Day 2 of the Tokyo Olympics swimming event on Sunday, 25 July. National swimmer Quah Zheng Wen clocked a time of 53.94s in the Men's 100m Backstroke Heats at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
