Quah Zheng Wen misses out on 200m Butterfly Semis

Day 3 of the swimming competition at the Tokyo Olympics saw national swimmer Quah Zheng Wen take to the pool once more for the heats of the Men's 200m Butterfly. Having not made the semi-finals for the Men's 100m Backstroke, Quah was looking to emulate his 2016 Rio Olympics performance when he made the semi-finals of the Men's 200m Butterfly. Quah Zheng Wen finishes third in his heat in Men's 100m Backstroke at Olympic Games

Singapore saw her first Olympic swimmer hit the pool on Day 2 of the Tokyo Olympics swimming event on Sunday, 25 July. National swimmer Quah Zheng Wen clocked a time of 53.94s in the Men's 100m Backstroke Heats at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. His time saw him finish third in his heat, and 22nd place out of 41 swimmers overall, where he was 0.17s off the semi-final placings.
